Additions, Alterations and ADA adaptations to the performing arts center at Widener University

New 3,000 seat multi-use sports stadium including locker rooms, toilet rooms, concession stands, support spaces and Press boxes. The structure is designed with precast concrete structural components.

Ancillae Assumpta Academy:  Alterations to the private school's Kitchen and Cafeteria, including a new 1,000 SF commercial kitchen and 3,000 SF Cafeteria with  new wall & ceiling finishes including a fifty foot long custom designed wall mural, and new epoxy floor finishes.  This project was a design/ build project performed by John Di Benedetto. 

It was challenged by a schedule that demanded the work to be completed during the summer months.  The project began after the last day of class in June, and was completed in time to serve the first lunch meal in  September, a total of two and one half months.. 

Ancillae Assumpta Academy:  This private Catholic elementary school continues to develop and grow in its education mission that includes improvements to their physical amenities. This is the third project that JDBA has assisted the school in developing. Here, we have a new fifth & sixth grade classroom building being added to an existing 6,000 SF one-story structure. The new 6,000 SF contemporary design addition includes new stair and elevator towers, decorative brick veneer, solar screens on the south side, seven new classrooms, new toilet facilities and staff lounge. The renovations include improvements to existing classrooms & toilet rooms and fire protection for the entire structure. The construction is scheduled to be completed in the summer of ’08.
